Air conditioner problems in my Mercedes

I have a 1985 300SD and the air conditioner stopped working the other day, compressor is good, think it must be an electrical problem. When I try to hot wire it the clutch locks up.
Does anyone have a wiring diagram so I can check everything is connected right?

I would recommend a search for the KLIMA relay, 85+ w126 had them IIRC, and it is connected to the AC system electrically. There is also a cutout switch for when the compressor is low on refrigerant so the compressor doesn't burn up.
