Nice Cars, Nice Guys, Cold Day
Another great NJ Diesel Meet. I guess since I left after 1-1/2 hours, I am 1/2 a panzie.
There was alot of technical expertise at the meet, but as is typical, my contribution was a cigarette butt. Thanks to Turbo for both the organization as well as the "get there you panzies" motivation. I was struck with the low amount we paid for these beautiful well running cars. Seem';s like I had the high water mark having paid $1,600. I think Jamie's was purchased for $800. I think the answer to the "why would anyone want a diesel" question is......."nobody, stay away, keep the demand down so we can buy them for a song." Let's do it again in the spring. JCD |
