I have read some posts about rack dampening bolt on the IP. I have looked through my manuals and am unable to find any reference to it. Does my 76 300D have this adjustment? If so could somebody tell me where it is. thanks

To the best of my knowledge, no. At any rate, not the same as the later pumps used on the turbo models.

It is is there, it is a 12mm bolt with a 14 mm lock nut, lower inside corner on the back of the IP.

It doesn't have it.

If I remember correctly they put it on the Diesels after 1978-79.
