Mixing Coolant

I had the thermostat replaced on my 84 300D, and the person who did this added Zerox G-5 to replace the coolant that was lost. I know you shouldn't mix coolants(I had the green stuff in there), but what problems am I facing if I don't completely flush the system and refill with G-5? Time constraints prevent me from doing this any time soon. Thanks
