1980 w123 sunroof question
 

I have a 1980 300TD with the sunroof. I recently found out that the code for the sunroof on the buildsheet says hydraulic/mechanical. I use it all the time and have to apply a lot of force to open it. How do I make sure the hydraulics work with it and that its functioning properly??

The TD sunroof is completely mechanical.
if it requires a lot of force, it's dirty, and needs some new grease. it uses a SPECIAL grease. it's available on the fastlane site in small quantities.
