Climate Control vents
On my 300D, I am only getting air out of the far left and right vents. Are flaps sticking in the system? I dunno where to start as far as diagnosis.

Vacuum pod for the center vents probably has a leak in it. Pull the inner glove box and use a mity vac to check to see if the center vent pod holds vacuum, I doubt it does.

I will certainly do that. Does it also control the temperature fluctuation if you switch temperature, say, from MIN to 22? I ask because I've had issues with this ever since I bought the car and if it's all controlled via that pod, I may get lucky and fix two problems at once.

It's been on hold for a bit, given the work we have to do with our daily drivers (his odometer crapped out now), and the excessive clutter around their house. My parents are undiagnosed hoarders, and I'm pushing them to clear out a bunch of their stuff so 1.) We have space to work, and 2.) so we can get one of the Benzs in the garage.
We've purchased thousands of dollars worth of new parts for it, including new carpets and a rare factory hardtop, but they won't do much good for the car until they get installed. Naturally, I'm pushing for this to happen sooner rather than later  If you're interested, check in every once in a while, I hope to do a new blog update by late summer/early fall, as that's when we'll probably get back to work on it.
