'75 W115 300D Motor Mounts 110.00 each! Substitute? Anyone know?
Was quoted 110.00 per mount by the classic center for motor mounts! -even Phil does not have these mounts -unobtainium I guess. I have not pulled the old ones to compare to 123 style -I am hoping that that perhaps I can redrill NA 123 mounts and make them work. Does anyone have any experience with w115 300d engine mounts? Seems strange to me that such a common part would be so hard to locate. USA auto parts has them for 8.23 cents each but claim they fit a '75-'85 car which cannot be right- Any thoughts/ideas anyone?

There's an OE on eBay for $80 shipped. A bunch of aftermarket from ~$25 shipped.

Wow, really disappointed in MB, these motor mounts are expensive! The sources on EBay all admit that their mounts will not fit a w115 car . . . . .When I pull engine, I will examine mounts to see if a 123 mount can be redrilled to fit. Normally, MB is much better with these kinds of things -who knew that a motor mount would be such a big deal -I wouldnt mind so much if they did not need to be changed every 3 years or so - ai!

That's odd. The parts place in AZ has w115 mounts for the 240d but not the 300d.

yea, so whats up with w115 300d mounts? can't wait to pull motor so I can compare them to w123/126 mounts -hopefully, I can just redrill them to fit if possible. This is the last part in the world I expected to be so expensive and because they need to be changed fairly often i am not keen on spending 110.00 each!
