Misfire Starting 300D Turbo
 

I had a few moments of misfiring upon starting my '84 300D. It smoothed out perfectly right away. A new Bosch starter was installed last week but it doesn't seems as powerful as the original. The valves have been adjusted, good filters, new injectors and glow plugs. Any ideas?

Check all fuel lines and connections for air/fuel leaks.

if the new starter is not as powerful as the old one, be SURE they sent you a diesel starter not a gasser one.
also be sure the body grounds are all in place. and all bolts are clean and tight.
