Anyone ever use this Lucas Oil?

I bought cases of Lucas oil (variety of winter ratings) from my previous employer that they sent us as samples and noticed this Long Drain 15W40 oil in some of the boxes. Anyone have any experience with is? I know Lucas is high dollar stuff, but I've never used this particular flavor of it.

This stuff along with other Lucas products were discussed in a thread about a year ago.
Conclusion was that there is nothing special about it. If it has the ratings then use it like any other oil.
Longer drain intervals is another subject. It gets discussed to death every now and again.

The only oils I know of that really allow an extended drain interval are the full synthetics (Mobil-1, etc.). Even then, I wouldn't push it past 10,000 miles (if that much) with a turbodiesel. An article I once read quoted Mercedes talking about using their vehicles in "harsh" environments, which cuts all service intervals in half. They went on to say that turbodiesels should really be treated as if they are in a harsh environment all the time.

Good to know. I used Lucas Fluids of other types, and have been satisfied, but I havent used this particular product. Thanks all!
