I know it looks just like mine, except for palamino instead of beige interior, much nicer paint, and 200K ish fewer miles. Neat, but I didn't know orient red was offered in 83. I like.

I have yet to see a twin of my 240D. I've seen several with the Caladonia green paint but they always have palamino interiors. Mine has all black.

It can't be a repaint, seller says "Paint is 100% original and shines beautifully". Don't you read the ad text?

NO, as I said above "I didn`t read through their story" I scaned through the pictures, and with the year, no way could it be all original, just looks too good. It just gave me the illusion of a repaint.

Too many days in PNP with the sale, and the heat in Sacramento, plus the long drive. I was beat and think it was late when I read this. That`s my story, and Iam sticking to it.

I googled the phone number in the listing and the seller has had at least two other cars for sale also advertised online: 2003 CL500 and a '73 Jeep Wagoneer. Both great looking. Name attached to MBCA ad is "James D.". Other google hits (no pun intended) include: Lancaster, PA, Frank Sinatra Singer/DJ age 20, James De Frances. I always google the number to see if it's a dealer operating out of a residence to avoid certain laws. But that totally threw me!
