HELP HELP

How do I remove the fan squirrel cage from the blower motor?

My new motor is coming today and I don't want to mess this up.

Thanks,

-BOB-

I supported the fan with wood and then used a drift to tap out the motor.

I used a few layers of cardboard on top of my vice and pounded the fan motor out of the fan with a drift and a 1lb hammer. The fan motor has splines on the shaft.

After installing the new fan the blower works great!

The test wire I used to bypass the fuse does NOT get hot at all when I tested with the new motor. The new 30A fuse does not get the slightest bit warm with the fan on high.

I found a non-attached SIRIUS tuner under my kick panel that I attached and an annoying rattle went away.

Thanks for your help everyone.
