starting

in that case, clean all contacts between black box and ignition switch. Also, check connections to starter to make sure you're not building up resistance in the form of that "white powder." take sandpaper to the connections to be sure. Don't forget the battery also. Clean up the contacts there, too. If it still doesn't want to start from the switch and you know it is wired correctly, then you need to take the starter off to see what is drawing the high amps to engage the bendix and crank the engine.

Just mi dos centavos.

I... uhh... forgot the transmission was in L from when I had to pull out the stereo. My lack of attention for minute details aside, I have yet more problems (sorry that I keep asking about everything.) I got my rear drivers side window to roll down using the door switch but now it won't roll up got the window to roll up by pressing the switch on the console and the door switch at the same time, and one headlight doesn't turn on but the high beams both work headlight broke at the same time as ignition switch. Also, at some point in working on the car I managed to accidentally disable the tach cluster plug is faulty, wiggled it a bit and now it works, the lock system is now completely off and not making noise, and the right turn signal is doing double clicks.

Bold in place of strikethrough, this board doesn't support it.

It might be that double clicks on your turn signal only means that one of your bulbs it out. Not sure.

How about some pictures of the car?

Usually means it's on its way out. Check the fuse for the headlights. Replace with the copper fuses, and toss the leaded ones.

I'll post pics in a little, sorry for the delayed response. Another problem I just thought of was the turbo may or may not be spooling, how do I check that on the cheap?

EDIT: Yeah, turn signal went out. You learn something new everyday.
