W124 rear armrest

Does anyone know how to R+R the raer armrest in a 124?

I'm not totally sure, but I think the seat has to come out and you might get access to screws etc

The armrest comes off with the rear door lining, unless you have a coupe. The 1991 300D 2.5, AFAIK, was made only as a sedan, but the 1992 300E 2.6 might have been available as a coupe. FSM includes armrest removal instructions for the coupe but I've never read them, sorry.

Actually I was referring to the center armrest. Sorry for the confusion.

It's part of the seat back. First, remove the seat bottom (two release levers, press in and pull up on the seat bottom. Remove the seat bottom to reveal screws left and right and possibly center, holding the bottom of the seat back. Remove all screws. Push the seat back up (it is hung on some hooks at the top) and pull forward and it will come out. With the seat back out of the car you can see from the back how the armrest is attached.
