Bushings came in a few minutes ago. But the 240D is not home.

top hat compared to what I had ordered. The hat portion is about the same diameter but the brim on the top hat is a larger diameter.


I'll probably rebuild the shifter Tuesday while I am at Pierre's doing the front end. I'll take pics of everything. Also, I was under the 240D yesterday trying to shift it into first via the lever on the transmission and it will not "click" into 1st. just hits a wall so to speak. all other gears are fine.

that shift bushing looks awfully similar to the bushing i need on my 240D's EGR linkage that you can't get anymore.

hmm. i wonder...

it's quite large.
