those middle screws holding the rails to the box are the very worst. it seems like they have to go dead last because there is just no access until the rail assembly is in pieces. take a look at the stamped bottom of the seat box, there are three flat protrusions on each side to receive the six screws.

the four at the corners are much more accessible. i don't think i will be replacing the middle two.

I don't remember it being very hard-I pulled my passenger seat for more room when moving once. Maybe I got lucky?

Its been a while but I've done several seat swaps and always had to have the two seats side by side on the bench or else things got real confusing. Using that approach it was pretty easy. Slide the rails to get to the screws with your "beefy" Phillips driver.
