W123 Shift Linkage (Automatic)

I think I bent my adjustable linkage arm to the trans.

Can someone please post a photo of a good one?...


...or draw one? For reference, the one below does NOT help!

Thanks, Fellas. Mine is a bit different, but pretty similar shape.... or, at least, now it is.


It looks like there should only be 2 slight bends at each end, right?

Apart from the 90 degree bends at either end - far ends - mine seems to have just the one squiffy bend in the middle. Sorry I don't have a 722.3 shift linkage to compare...

1985 300TDT US spec.


There seems to be an issue with the linkage hitting the trans. The linkage definitely is meant to have a slight 'C' shape.

Does the linkage go concave up, or concave down?
