Post What are these Wires???

Hi guys, having a problem with starting my car, just clicks doesnt actually get started. My car was starting on Neutral for a while but that got fixed and now it starts on Park and it has stopped after driving for a while three times on me.had the starter replaced twice too. looked at the engine took out the battery to see wires more clearly and the they look odd. Does anyone know what these wires are or if their not supposed to be there?

Thank you

this is near the glow plug area and windshield washer fluid. one looks like it should be plugged into something it has a green and red wire, then the other one is just white and cut off and looks like it goes down

I'm wondering if those are leftovers from a car phone?

Or an alarm/immobilizer system?

Any sign of stray wires under the dash, poking into the glove compartment, etc.?

Anything look aftermarket under the hood, such as a black box or an alarm siren or horn unit?

late reply sorry

The car doesnt have a phone or a security system and I did look at the wires under the dash and glove box it looked like everything was good. I believe there is nothing aftermarket under the hood. The guy I bought the car from did wire things up based on his own knowledge...not good
thanks for the guesses

Next time it just clicks, jump terminals 1 and 3 in the plastic junction box on top of the right inner fender in front of the battery and report back here.
