Fan 11 Bladed

Bert,

My "Go To" is usually the EPC Search feature...
Part # 606 200 01 23 ONLY comes back to OM606.962 Engines.
(Which means it's the only use Mercedes KNOWS of)

"Zomeone" who has both the #606 200 01 23 AND a 617.XXX series clutch
would have to make the comparison. Roy (Hunter) would be a good starting point.

Some of the Techs here on the forum may be aware of the Interchangeability
or lack thereof.

FWIW- A local MBer friend gave me used fan blade from a 1987 300D OM603 that fit . Unfortunately, it appears that the blade is out of balance or fan clutch is bad (noisy) too ! I did not notice the noise before loose the alternator pulley/ thrown belt /damage fan incident . Either that blade is bent (not noticeable) or out of balance or I wonder if the fan clutch got damaged some how (don't "feel" any play in anywhere)

Thanks,

I found this fan in the trunk of a W123 in Fresno. It was marked Mercedes-Benz, so I took it. I can't recall if I used the clutch that I found elsewhere in the W123, or used my 617.950 clutch, but the fan pulls a lot of air and I have been using it since 2009....
