Hi Army, thanks for asking.

I have been... er... 'otherwise engaged' in a number of other projects, work, vacation, etc. so my Mercedes project has been on the back burner for a while.

Among other things, I went on a 900 mile adventure with one of my sons in my 1982 BMW Baur to Bimmerfest East, then to Washington DC, some Civil War Battlefield touring, and some Baurspotting on the trip home. A great time. But that is a story for another day.

Some of it is captured here, if you are interested, and if you will forgive the OT subject matter:

And you know the old saying... no one needs a vacation more than the guy who has just returned from one!

Looks like a great trip - shame you didn't take the Merc - we could do with another travelling with my Mercedes thread!

Perhaps, but the original reason for the trip was to attend Bimmerfest East in Aberdeen, MD, and the Mercedes would have been a little out of place there with 1899 bimmers present! It turned out to be pretty special, though since, despite that huge turnout of BMWs, mine was the only Baur in attendance!

Does anyone know the part number for that triple connector (#9 in the diagram above)?
Mine is broken where the line to the hood connects. Thanks
