Rear axle Boot maintenance

I need new axle boots on one axle on my 84 300D. The other one is ok but is showing some cracking (Slight). Is there any thing I can do to prolong the life of this other boot?Cleaning , etc??

Thanks,
Harry

I guess that aerospace303 stuff would help.

It has been recommended to me to try and stop the deterioration of ball joint rubber seals.

I'd use something like that water based Marine clean (POR15 degreaser)

Avoid solvent based => might "melt" or oil based stuff => I think that enhances vulcanisation but it could more than likely stop the 303 stuff from doing its job

I'd get a good degreaser on it, then rinse well with water, then spray some isopropl alcohol on it and let it dry.
