Threatening to blacken a company's rep on discussion boards has been used for years, to greater or lesser effect, in attempting to resolve sticky issues where customer service doesn't appear to be forthcoming. The extension of this tactic would be to threaten to establish a URL such as companyname-SUCKS.org, on which to publish your account (and hopefully gather other complaints) then propogate the link around the Net. The reason I say I doubt it in this case? Tuner companies generally are Net savvy and are probably accustomed to having dirty laundry aired on boards or lists. Tuning isn't a straightforward business and it generates a larger volume of issues than regular repairs or parts sales. In other words, they probably have thick skins. Also we can probably assume that MBz diesels represent a small part of their business volume. I am sorry but I wouldn't hold my breath on threats here. Edit: And I should add that this strategy runs the risk that someone in charge will lose their temper at the posting of the info and the company will simply refuse to deal with you further in any way.
