I can see that it would be interesting getting in and out of the vehicle with the turbine running.

They make a nice sound, but turbines on cars don't make a lot of sense. Let's just say, a transport truck will beat you at a light. lol.

I hate the sound of turbine engines, mainly because I'm on vacation right now. Airplane are a source of frustration, boats are a source of relaxation.
Its a cool project but for the time and money I would have gone with an expensive electric motor and batts for propulsion. Now that is impressive to see 0 - 60.

Model airplanes use them. They make them even smaller depending on the scale.

long way from the old 1cyl "diesel" motors in the airplanes I flew in the 70's...
