Somewhere I did a thread about a this gearbox as a daily driver, but anyway here's another for the list here.
711.113 from T1 van. 711.117 is the G wagen version - breather is on a extended tube and no speedo cable connector. Ratios: 1st 4.695 2nd 2.401 3rd 1.436 4th 1 5th 0.806 2nd pic is the adaptor to run W123 style speedo cable

Lovely car! I hope I get to enjoy my five speeds when I quit working 72 hours a week!
1979 240D MT bought from the Don 1980 240D MT bought from Detroit DJ Steve Cherry. Car is aka "Chocolate Thunder (needs a muffler)" 1983 240D MT bought from Jim M, running strong-- go Navy! 1982 240D MT bought from our resident architect Tom Walgamuth, and formerly known as Pancakes (the car, not Tom) 1983 240D MT bought from Walrus Tom, a guy who has a giant walrus mustache, and has given up on MBs for Volvos (treason!) I will either sell the 240D with AT or pull the engine for use in my 1950 170D. Then I can work on the 1952 220 Sedan and the 83 380SL R107 to become a diesel with 617.952 in it. In my spare time, the Citroens and the Borgward Isabella and the VW 181s.

I have one installed in the 300d. Its non original. I do have the shop manual for the 717.xxx it includes the .411 .400 .420 .430. They are in two different PDF files.

you need the other numbers. 717.41x is different from 717.40x. Many parts from a 717.43x will go into a 717.41x. The 717.40x Gl275 is very rare and made by Getrag. The Gwagon 5speed will have it as well 717.42x GL275.
