82 300SD Read Differential Swap

Can I put an 85 300CD 2.88 rear end in my 82 300SD with out any problems ?

yes the 2:88 will fit right in. however, your spedo will be off a little bit. you should have a 3:07 in the SD.

Keep your eye peeled for an 85 300SD in the yards for it`s spedo.

there were three HP ratings on the OM616...

1) Not much power
