oh, wait, the 240 is a little different than the 300 wireharness... and when my 240 got the engine pulled, the guy getting the engine just chopped out the wires... arrgh. lemme see what I have for sure, unless you want to upgrade tothe 300 harness, with the junction block to mount on the fender.

ok, thanks for checking- if you have a harness that works as is, that would be best. for sure interested in the fuel sending unit if you have that though.

parts

VS, if you will pm me with cost (plus shipping) for fuel sender for '83 300 D and instrument cluster (operational) for '83 SD, I'll get a check in the mail. May be in your area next summer and try to pick up a driver's door for the 300D.

OK, I sent martureo on his way with a 123 door, a front fender, 4 bunt wheels and a pair of 126 rebooted axles... we got the dashboard out of my 124 sedan, and have NO idea how to get the evaporator and heater core out...

I just walked in the door. Man that was a longer drive than I thought it would be. I think my eyes were bigger than my right foot!

Thanks for letting me come down and thanks for the parts.

pffft! no way. andy's SD won't start for anything is the fastest growing informational thread, and the cheaper than gasoline has the most hits and replies...
click on the header above replies, or views, and the forum will organize threads by either stat... this is NO WHERE near the largest...
plus it's been up for over a month, and the count is below 7,000 andy's thread grew in weeks to close to it's current high hit...
it does have a lot of views, but there isn't a way I can think of to see timers on the views, only the replies, so one could see how quick it hit 100, 200, and compare to the larger threads to see if it got there faster...

ok, crunch time... a hair over one week before next inspection comes. I'd REALLY like some members over to assist before they make me call in the tow trucks...

Also, am broke and unemployed . . . so if anyone going from Florida to help out, can bring camping supplies and ride along to help with dissassembly. I can also cook . . . LOL . . . and have the backpacking stove to do it on. But am in Clearwater, FL.
