I did notice that the hose isn't leaking as much since I changed the oil. Not sure what was in there but it has rotella now.

Well I tore a boot on one of the half shafts today when a tire came off a truck in front of me... add that to the list

I knew they were not going to last long however I thought I would get at least 6 months of life before they needed replacing.

I think there is a way to get new boots on... Roy talked about a special tool they've come up with to do it.

there may be a new tool however im positive the axles are original and need replacing... its on the ever growing list

So far I have replaced the rear shocks and sway bar links, headlight doors, painted the bundts and replaced the control stalk... the car now looks presentable and drives much better.

New updates include brand new oil cooler hoses and from the junkyard mint blue sunvisors and clips, new first aid kit box, new grille and new front bumper. I have had some superb luck in finding good quality parts from the local u pull. They currently have 5 W123 sedans and 1 W123 wagon.
