Stock 84 300D Motor Mounts the same as Lemforder; pics show proof

The pics speak for themselves.

The Lemforder Motor Mounts are made in Turkey as I have read the ones sold at the Dealership are. Mercedes Star Logo is ground off of the Lemforder Mounts.

I looked up 2 inernet sources that sell original Mercedes parts and the MSRP is $129.00 with actual selling prices of $96.75 and $103.20.
(These prices have gone up since about the middle of last year where the actual price was in the $80-$90 range.)
So if you shop around you can buy 3 Lemforder Motor mounts for the price of 1.

Good information - do you happen to know the name of the company in Turkey?

(The Turkish community is quite large where I live - I guess I might be able to get in touch with someone who knows someone else... => yep a classic way to lose money I know - but think of the potential savings!)

Looking on fastlane the lemforders are $35.28 ea, and with the same ground off star and the S11 stamp.

Push the CRTL key and roll the mouse to enlarge the picture.

Look closely and you'll see that the Lemforder mounts have the Phoenix logo on them. I guess Lemforder is reboxing Phoenix mounts?

LEMFÖRDER is a re-boxer of motor mounts, hence the Phoenix AG logo on them.

Phoenix AG is the OE manufacturer of the w123/w126 style motor mounts.

Just for FYI purposes, Phoenix AG has been bought out by ContiTech in 2004. Here is Phoenix AG website.
