Has anyone tried chrome paint instead of gloss white for the interior of the instrument housing??

Ed:

I was thinking along the same lines about using silver or chrome paint instead of gloss white to increase the reflection and brightness. Then thinking a bit more, I think AC metal tape that has a really reflective surface may work better (you can see a not too clear reflection in the tape). I have to partially remove the instrument cluster when I R&R the engine (damn oil pressure line will NOT unscrew at the filter housing, so I must remove the line at the oil pressure gauge). When I have the instrument cluster out I am going to look at the prism/plastic piece and see if the reflective metal tape will work. I'll let y'all know what I find out.
