Where is the door lock vacuum pump in an 87 TD Wagon

Doors don't lock but can't find the vac pump. Cheers Dan

I'm confused but accept that it must be different than my '90 w124 sedan.

I've not been inside of a w124 wagon.

I guess 87 TDs are rare. Post in the Tech forum. It's gotta be in the same place as a gasser T124. Or is that S124?

Here you go - Central Locking Dead 300TE

It's in the same place... getting the carpeting to give up that pump is a pain. You have to remove the rear passenger side door sill to free up the carpet... then you have to reach far back under the rear seat backrest to get a hand hold of the carpet edge... tug on that... it's gonna be stiff.

On my '87 sedan, it's under the passenger-side rear seat. Just unlock & raise the seat up & it's in there encapsulated in some white foam. You'll have to dig it out of the foam & there are several vacuum/electrical connections to deal with.
