I got it!!! I want to thank this forum for all of these things I have learned from it over the years, this information is what got me home today.

Well I get there and I find that he has completely drained the battery, and has changed the primary filter. With some more investigation I found that the previous owner(not his father like he said) had run wvo in it just by dumping it in the tank.

The primary he had taken out was full of algae/bug things. So I dumped a bottle of powerservice 911 in the tank, but was unable to get fuel to come out of the supply line even with a mityvac. So I went and got a few gallons of diesel and an electric fuel pump. I ran the pump in line with a gallon jug of diesel(at this point I was thinking the lift pump was done bc it would pull anything out of the bottle on its own.) The car fired after tons of cranking and injector cracking. After a while we got most of the air out but it was still iffy.

Then fuel started flowing out of the supply line from the tank randomly, so I hooked it back up minus the new electic clicker pump. The car started up and ran ok(smoking and missing on cyl 3) After driving around town and adding 5 gallons of diesel to the tank I went for the highway. With my friend in my other 300d in tow we took off. After driving it hard, and I mean HARD it began to run better and better.

Long story short I made it home with out any issues. The car has definetely had some performance work done because it rolls black smoke with heavy acceleration, and I managed to get it to do a burn out and continue spinning in second. Also it is wickedly faster than my car, but only above 3000rpm. Once it hits 3000 she pushes you back in the seat and takes off like a rocket.

It has alot of typical ohio rust at the jack points and on the doors. Also the passenger fender has the intake vents for the 1990 and up so that is obviosuly wrong.

Also the rear end is scary sloppy, like made me nervous the whole time I was on the highway, it was swaying and moving in different directions from the rest of the car.

Also I found that the odometer stopped at 356k and he is estimating it to have at least 20k more miles. So I would say it has real close to 400k.

Oh it has a #14 head

Here are some notes on it:
  • Nice headlights and headlight holders
  • black leather interior(not perfect)
  • Nice aftermarket wheels that dont look to bad, and should be worth allittle...
  • It runs decent?
  • Starts super easy
  • The oil fill cap dosnt "dance" as if it had excesive blow by..
  • Tranny shifts nice
  • Interior wood is nicer than mine(still has some small cracks)
  • Windows all work
  • Has a sweet big tail pipe... not...
I will post pictures tommrow. As much as I want to keep it as a second vehicle, I know that I will spend crazy money to make it ready to drive anywhere. So I will be parting it out, after I take what I need/want which isnt a whole lot.
