Dave (chasinthesun) is a good honest guy. I bought my 300CD from him in January 2010 for a very reasonable price and he even installed a set of Euro headlights for me as part of the deal.

I'm putting my 85 CD up for a while, clearing out a building for it to store it until I can afford to do the 5 speed conversion and redo the car. They are great cars and it's one I'm going to keep till I'm pushing daisies.

Can you provide a description of your car and some information or a telephone number to call and discuss?

I had an '85 300CD a while back. It was Black on Black with Black over Black. What I'm saying is this car was ALL Black. Never seen one like this before. A guy looking at one of my other car went crazy over this car and begged me to sell or trade it to him (he likes all black cars). I ended up trading it for a Euro 1985 280E 4 speed. If you end up getting one with the trap ox, the early 300SD manifold swap is the easiest/ best way to get rid of the power robbing trap cat. I did this to my most recent CD. The thing runs like a greased cheetah with a caffeine buzz!
