Clunky rattle in front wheel area (W123)

The other morning when I drove out, there was a disturbing rattle/clunk noise coming from the front driverside wheel area. I stopped and looked around with a flashlight but didn't see anything out of order. Drove to my destination and that's the last I've heard it. I couldn't tell for sure, but it seemed like it might have been suspension related as I heard it more when there were disturbances in the road. I replaced almost all of the front end in April of this year. LCA, Drag Link, Idler Arm, UCA, Tie Rods. I did not change the shocks or springs. Does this sound like a shock or maybe a wheel bearing? It's weird that I haven't heard it anymore.

Hmm

Possible answers:
* Guide Rod Repair Kit.
* Guide Rod Mount.

I'll take a look tomorrow. I did replace the guide rod mounts during the front end rebuild.

I definitely previously experienced clunky rattles on bumpy terrain with worn/broken guide rod ends.
