I went to the junkyard and got 4 steels (laying around), then got 20 bundt lugs and cut them down with an angle grinder, and filed the threads. took about 15 minutes, lugs are not cheap if you buy a cars worth new. Cost me 5 bucks for 20 used. I painted them so I wouldn't mix them up with the regular bundt lugs. I also ordered a pair of blizzaks off tirerack and had them mounted to the steel rims for traction tires, was VERY pleased with that studless winter tire. Used what was decent of the 4 existing steel wheel tires for front tires. Personally, ive never had huge problems with front wheel control in snow in a 123, mostly traction issues. Blizzaks did a good job on that end
