Yup, rear dome light....does the light work when you open the rear doors?

My question is what is that awesome looking glow-plug esque switch off the right?

oh, ok, i guess i never realized there was a rear dome light! i dont think any lights go on when the doors open, not even the front dome. i figured it was a burned out bulb, but i guess it could be something else. i'm gonna go run out and see if i can get the rear dome to turn on... !

Cheaper to just use the glow plug sticker for two things I suppose.

The rear light, front too, is a festoon type bulb, 10W.

that little rear dome light was tucked way back there! i never even noticed it before.. flipped switch, nothing happened, neither front or rear would light up...
so i took both front and rear dome assemblies out, and this is what i found,,(photos below): not sure if they look normal, they both seem to have another connector fin that nothing is connected to..? seems like maybe it should be ground? also there is a little wire attached to the roof (see pic) that is connected to nothing,,
i then checked the fuse (#2) and there wasnt one..! so thats problem #1 LOL! i put in a fuse, and then turned on the front dome with the hand switch- and pop! the bulb went and the fuse blew. -- maybe thats why the PO had no fuse in there...
any suggestions on tracing down why it is blowing the bulb and fuse?

the rear dome assembly's switch is pretty busted up and doesnt seem to make any connections, so thats a whole nother story, which i'll put off til a later date,,,! ( unless the rear one not working is messing with the entire circuit ?? )

Thats a front dome light.....someone may have swapped it. The extra prong is to power the lights on the visors when its installed up front.....

Original rear dome light does not have a switch on the assembly itself.
