owners manual
 

Hi,

Need an owners manual for my 83 300D. The parts guy at my local dealer said there was a number I could call at mercedes that would be able to get me one. Is anyone familiar with that number? If not, anyone reccomend the best way to get one, I havent seen any on ebay...

300D toolkit
 

Hi,

What would anyone consider the required toolkit for someone owning an early 80s 300d. I would liek to make sure I have everything to do oil change, diff change, as well as any other repairs I might need to do (id take this kit with me in my trunk, so any other reccomendations would also be great)

Good luck. I'm looking at a 83 300D tomorrow 260K but it looks good and tight just got to hear it start and take it for a hell ride. If it passes that test I'll check the compression and start to negotiate the price down from the $1800 their asking.:)
