Oil Filter Canister Side Plate Bolt Torque
Does anyone know what the correct torque is for the bolts to the side plate on the oil filter canister for the OM617? This is the plate where the oil pressure line hooks in. I took the whole housing off the block because I had a bad leak there and decided to go ahead and change the gasket under the plate on the side of the oil filter canister too. With the housing being aluminum, I don't want to over do it.
Thanks, Shane |
I couldn't find an exact call for the torque value but here are some general spec's on other parts of the engine, related to bolt size:
6mm 9-11Nm 7-8Ft-lbs 8mm 20-25Nm 15-18Ft-lbs 10mm 40Nm 30Ft-lbs 12mm 70Nm 52Ft-lbs |
