Question boost pressure/cruise control

I installed a boost pressure gauge several years ago. Problem: just recently when the cruise control is engaged the boost pressure goes to zero, if I disengage the CC the boost jumps back to the normal 5-7 pounds. Anybody know why it is doing this

It's a 90 350 SDL. I got poking around and found the problem. Pulled the boost pressure off the over-pressure control. When I looked one off the hoses was off, rubber getting old. Don't know how this runs thru the cruise control but it fixed the problem. Thanks Al
