Anyone know what these dots mean on the speedometer? Just curious
Ive always asked myself what they could be for. Someone here must know.

Amazingly, we do.............
Those are the maximum speeds for each of the shift points. Typically used for vehicles without a tach, but present on those as well. |

And when a tach is present are most useful for knowing at what speed it is possible to downshift to a lower gear without over-revving the engine.
