Key won't go all the way in, 80 300d
Searched but could not find any info. 1980 300d, tried to lock the car last night and I could not get the key to go all the way in. Now we did just have a cold spell, so it could just be frozen. But the key has always gone in kind of rough. Is this a common issue and if so what is the proper route to correct?

take cigarette lighter to the key, and see if it goes in better...
if not, get some brake cleaner and clean out the tumbler, then spray some wd-40 in there, and let it soak a bit, then clean THAT out with more brake cleaner... see if it works better that way.
