How are you shipping to Oz for $12? That's fantastic.

The guy sold injector nozzles without telling the general public that they'd need to pop test them to get their engines running right. When he 'developed,' a pop pressure tester he made sure everyone knew they needed one.

Unfortunately, he's the only supplier in north america for Monarch nozzles. So yes, he's taken some of my money.

Just standard first class international through Stamps.com. They have a processing facility in Torrance, CA that bundles mail to each country to get great rates. Up to 4lb can be sent, I believe, but generally I send things that are a few oounces. If they are thin parts that can fit in a padded envelope, up to 4oz ships for like $5.30.

People love to make lots of money adding to the actual cost of shipping.

Regarding nozzles, there are others that work just fine. I have Bosios in my 603 and it's been no problems for 10k miles.

Post Hard To Source Parts

? Is there no M-B Classic Center in Au. ? .

You might try the one in Irvine, Ca. the next time, I recently bought the German made oil filter to block gasket there, they supply me with quite a few parts, always easier than any M-B dealer as they don't want to be bothered with older vehicles .

The idiots who killed my 300CD were buying 5 gallon jugs of oil @ COSTCO, an American member typ store that usually has good stuff cheaply, you have to pay $150.00 / year to join though .

They like many idiots back when it was hip to drive an old Mercedes Diesel, just poured the canola oil in straight from the jug .

It takes about a year before the car grinds to an unhappy halt .
