Parts to rebuild injectors

I looked at Jeremy's post on cleaning injectors and I am seriously thinking in purchasing my own Pop Tester and cleaning my own since I own three diesels? However what about when the nozzle gets worn out? Where does one purchase these parts and shims to rebuild ones own injectors?

I ask because I am having a very difficult time finding injectors or parts to rebuild them for a 1995 E300D.

Am I wasting my time trying to find them? I heard they are unique to that year and hard to find.
