2002 CD Version of the EPC

I've got an old CD version of the EPC from 2002. Anyone know how to make it work on a Mac, or is it even possible? I don't have the Windows setup on my Mac. I'm running OS X 10.6.8.

Unfortunately at work the Man, keeps me from installing anything without permission, so I can use it there either.

I had someone partition some space on my Mac for windows, just for this purpose. Use XP, 7 has issues.

Indeed I use virtualbox for similar reasons - it is also good because you are actually running Windows on top of a proper OS you can kill the bloody thing whenever you want. When I say shut down it sodding well does!

On the web version of EPC you should in theory be able to run it on any operating system because it is meant to be java based. I however have had problems trying to get EPC to run on non windows machines - but I don't have the energy to sift through all of those incomprehensible java exceptions...

What files do you have on the CD? Is java included for example?

I didn't really want to buy the windows stuff just to run the EPC, but that might be what I have to do. Last time I check the online EPC you can't run it on a Mac w/o windows. Maybe I should try again. The CD's don't have any files that I recognize, a lot of .ini and .ins files. The Mac won't open the install.exe file.

Yeah OK but how about a folder called something more informative - like on the FSM CD you've got acrobat reader... can you see java or any mention of it?

You could always install WINE
