'91 300D breather tube
I'm trying to locate the tube that runs from the top of the intake into the breather hose. It has a 90 degree bend where it enters the intake.
I was wondering if it is 2 separate parts or is the 90 degree plastic part removable? I've contacted Phil at Peach Parts and I'm waiting to hear back.

In an 87 300D and 93 300SD the fitting that presses onto the valve cover is sold as part of the padded hose assembly that attaches to the turbo air inlet pipe. The grommet on the valve cover is separate.

The fitting is separate also. I just changed one (got it from fastlane) and it wasn't an easy task. I could not find the complete assembly anywhere.

Yeah, might be different for a 91 300D. The 603 hose looks like it's factory heat shrunk onto the fitting.

It's the same for his car. It looks the way but its not and it will come out.

That's similiar to the discussion I was having with a parts guy. One guy says it's separate and the other says it's one tube. One guys calls the dealer(I think) and the dealer tells him that it's a special order and it will cost $32.50. I know I can get the tube for around $8, but haven't been able to find the fitting. I guess I'll have to try Fastlane.
