Parts finding issue in fastlane

Having issues finding some parts in fastlane - for w123:

Cloth covered fuel hose from hand pump thru pre filter to the rest of the rest of the fuel system.

Front and rear brake hoses.

Clear hoses in the fuel system around the secondary filter/IP.

Is this stuff stocked in fastlane?

Thanks!

Clear hose with banjo fittings is not listed on Fastlane............need to call Phil.

Not them.

Rear brake hoses say not carried when clicked, and the fuel hoses shown are the ones that go between injectors. I'm looking for the cloth one to the pre-filter.

Was hoping whunter had alternate links...

Buy a couple feet of 5/16" fuel hose from a typical parts store. That those is under no pressure and does not need to be reinforced. SAE 30R9 will resist additives better than 30R7.

agreed. any diesel rated fuel line is fine for that cloth covered hose.
Phil is nearly always available to source out parts you can't find, and email is ALWAYS a choice for an order.
the clear lines are available at the dealer, and I'm sure Phil can get it.

Trust me, I've ordered LOTS from Phil before. I'm not new on here or in using fastlane.

I just have a basket of parts and wanted to throw those in.

I want the cloth hose so it looks original, plus the correct stuff is metric.

I've not found a source of US or German-made viton liked SAE90 hose in the right metric size (7mm ID IIRC).

Diesel fuel from US refineries does not flow well through metric hoses.

vstech 12-13-2011 09:58 PM

I doubt it's 7mm, more likely it's 8mm which is SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO close to 5/16" only an engineer would notice the difference...

The SAE spec for 5/16" ID hose actually allows variation between 7.5 and 8.3 mm.

Actually, if you buy it by the liter instead of the gallon, it flows fine thru metric hose.
