Kudos to the MD Police Officer.

I think it was a mistake to omit Triangles from the US Mercedes.

I completely agree, safety equipment should not be just a European thing.

Although I find it odd that I've found warning triangles in US Audis, the last one was from a 2003 Audi (a nice folding one for a wagon!). But to my knowledge I've never seen one in a US VW.. what's up with that?

Be on the watch if you are a good Samaritan

Hey, guys, be careful out there. Some nut in Arlington, Texas had a small accident, drove off, and tried to escape yesterday---fleeing the scene he crashed into the back of a pick-up and killed that driver. Then as a young man (good Samaritan) was approaching his car to help--the perp. shot and killed the young man. Know I know why some people will just stand and watch until the cops and fire dept. people show up.
