Hello to all. I am trying to get my drivers seat to move back. The tilt motor and the back incline works sometimes. I need to know how to remove the knobs without breaking them so that I can check power. Can some one tell me how to do this? I cannot find it on the DiYs. I am also going to need to remove the door panel to check the window motor and regulator. Thanks in advance. Jack

The knobs just pull off the stalks on the switch.

If you are patient and have a lot of time, you can remove the switch from the door, dismantle it, and rebuild it. However, be very careful when you take it apart as it has a bunch of springs and balls that are inside. All must get back to their original places.

Personally, I just get a new one...........it's not worth the aggravation.

If you take the door panel off remember that you pull up to remove it not towards you.
