If I were there I'd buy that in a heartbeat... w124s here cost on the average around 6,000 USD... yep!!! 6 grand... and that's just for gasoline sedans... diesel wagons can go for 7,000-11,000 USD I kid you not!!!

Cars are expensive here in the Philippines, even used cars.

Man, I like my w124 diesel wagon, but I'd like $7,000 also. I wonder how much it would cost to ship a car there...

$7K? I'd not let either of my two wagons go for that... now, 11?... I just might consider letting one of them go...

Crazy I know!!!! Shipping an entire car is discoruraged... that's why, last i heard... they're slapping a around 10,000USD tax on any 2nd hand vehicle irregardless of value... That's half a million pesos... check out sulit.com.ph
and type in mercedes or w124 or whatever. 1USD=43Php...

When I traded my car for a truck I paid $4k for 6 months prior, these wagons were getting $8k-$12k on ebay, even with 200k+ miles on them. This must have been four years ago or so. At the time I got a GREAT deal!

Rough in what way? Cosmetic or mechanically ... or both? My dad has expressed some interest in a 124 wagon.
