E300D Missing Throttle Spring. Where to find?

My accelerator pedal has always been pretty stiff and the shifting never great in my 1995 E300D. I've cleaned, lubed and adjusted everything and it is much better than when I first got it but still kind of rugged. While browsing eBay to see what other E300Ds are out there I noticed a spring on the throttle setup in one of the pictures (below). I am missing this spring, perhaps it might help further refine my driving experience? Anyone know where I could order it from?

Probably comes with the throttle cable.

I've got two of em and neither have that spring. I think that is some aftermarket stuff.
Have you lubed the linkage pivot point located down between the injection pump and the block?

that spring is not original, the usual binding linkage in a 95 E300D is the cruise control actuator linkage, you would need to remove the crossover pipe of the manifold to remove and grease it up. My car also sticks its accelerator in very cold mornings but only to about 1100 rpm, I just tap it back.

Thanks for the advice! I'll pull the manifold, check the suggested areas and give them a good lubing!

And the cups on the knuckle of the ball joint are made of a rubbery plastic. Mine had perished and was sticking to the ball so I had to replace the link.
The more I soaked them, the worst the plastic got.

I just replaced the return spring for the accelerator cable which is located by the injection pump. There was a modification to this spring as it was too weak to bring the throttle back to idle position - Part no. A601 9933 710 less than $5 from MB dealership. Check the plastic bushing in the throttle setup where the throttle cable meets the banjo cable as it tends to go flat and doesn't rotate properly - Part no. A111 072 0093 less than $5 from the dealer also.

My throttle also stuck when cold. Just last week I replaced the throttle and the cruise linkage rods, the cruise return spring and the spring on the throttle cable linkage as well. I also made an egr block plate.
