94-95 hood on 87 TD
Does anyone here really know if i can put a 94 Hood/grille on my 87 wagon?
I have Depo euro style headlights and would like to keep them, but part of the hood comes down over a small portion of the fog light part of the headlight. Are the 94-95 euro style shaped differently where the hood covers the inner corner of the lights? I have been wondering about this for a while but have not seen a 94-95 124 standing still to get a good look at one. Can anyone help? TIA Don

94-95 headlights are reshaped where the 94-95 hood has a rounded corner transition to the grill. I know you can fit 94-95 headlights on an 86-93 124 without interference problems. It just looks... umm... unright. My guess is you can't fit a 94-95 hood without 94-95 headlights. Certainly don't slam the hood the first time.

I had the older headlights for a while, WHILE I had the 94-95 hood... they will scratch up that part of the headlight but it's hidden by the hood so no problem. If you plan on discarding the older headlights then I'd say go for it.

Thanks for the answers Sixto & Locry, i will eventually get the proper euro style lights but right now i can get a super deal on painting i would like to get the 94 hood on for the paint job as it is black and my wagon is anthracite.
The paint job will take some $$$$ so i will get the lights later. Thanks Don
