Is the black IP shutoff valve on 606 outdated?

I have intake off on 1995 E300 D 606 and replaced glow plugs. Looking at what else to replace while i'm under there. Already did delivery valves a year ago. Car has 200,000 plus miles on it.

I see the shutoff valve is black and looks original but don't know. The ones they sell now are white. I'm wondering if i should replace that one with a newer looking white one from my parts car ? Or is the black one better ?

I already did the delivery valves . Want to do fuel pump seals i can reach.

Thanks.

I replaced the one on my 99 E300 606 a week ago, it was leaking. Got the SOV from the dealer new, it was black. $142/dealer

If your not going to replace the SOV I would at least replaced the rubber o ring that is inside the SOV, very easy when you have the intake off.
